1) Friday, May 31. 9:30-9:45 A brief overview of C 2000 over
in OIT using the Liveboard. I would like Nick and Wasim to
take care of installing a demo version of the ClassPad application
on the Liveboard and ensure that there is a working Web browser
that is clearly accessible on the machine. One of the two of you
should be there on Friday to assist me in finding the application
to demonstrate. I would like the demo version to display the
slides that are currently located in:
/net/www/fce/c2000/demo/live
2) The Broadband Telecommunications Center (BTC) is interested in
involving more FCE activities. They are having an open house/advisory
board on Wednesday, June 6 from 6-8. We are going to demonstrate
C 2000 there. The setup will be similar to a GVU demo day. The
ThinkPad 360PE (running Wasim's ClassPad) hooked up to a projector
and the standalone Voyager. I would like Nick to take care of the
ThinkPad set-up and Ami and Rob to take care of the Voyager setup
in local mode. All C2000 people are invited to attend. There will
be free food and the chance to schmooze with lots of industrial
people.
We'll have a meeting this coming Wednesday to discuss summer plans.
