I think that we're all caught up now, except for the following:
-three machines with previously existing hardware problems.
-one machine with pen problems, which I suspect are software related but
haven't explored the situation fully.
-one machine with missing windows files; file conversion must take place
on another machine.
-sick thinkpad (memory fails at startup).
