Setting up the Screen-saver on Windows NT

You would need at least a Pentium with Windows 98SE or NT 4 for this to work.

If your system is in the GIT-CC-STATES domain:
1. First you need to make the Unix files in /usr/local/happening/ accessible in Windows environment -- telnet to a Unix machine. Then execute this line: ln -s /usr/local/happening $HOME Now you have a $HOME/happening/ symbolically linked directory on the Unix side, which is equivalent to H:\happening\ on the Windows side. Note that my home directory is mounted as the H: drive on a Windows machine. Yours may be Z: or something else -- just substitute in the correct one.
2. Open "Windows File Explorer" and find the directory created from the previous step. Then right-click on the What's Happening.scr file to bring up the file-specific menu. Finally, click on the Install menu entry. The Windows screen-saver setup window will pop up -- adjust the parameters as you wish and hit OK.
If your system is not in the GIT-CC-STATES domain, you can FTP two files: What's Happening.scr and IJL15.DLL in ~happen/windows/ from any CoC Unix machine, put them in your Windows folder, and install the .scr file as your screen-saver.
