About Team Sponsorship

By supporting Sting Racing's entry in the 2007 Urban Design Challenge, companies can enjoy the benefits of a highly public association with one of the country's most respected education institutions, Georgia Tech. In addition, sponsorship advances cutting-edge robotics, one of the most intriguing and most promising new areas of technology today.

To help companies take advantage of this opportunity - and, of course, allow Sting Racing to secure critical financial support - the team's Sting 1 autonomous vehicle is available for NASCAR-style company name and logo placement.

Through a Sting Racing sponsorship, companies are assured of a highly visible way of displaying their commitment to innovative automotive technologies. For instance, CNN is working on a documentary of Sting Racing's participation in the Urban Design Challenge. Images of the team's vehicle will certainly figure prominently in the final cut.

For information about becoming a sponsor or to make a donation, contact Mary Alice Isele, Georgia Tech College of Computing, at 404-894-8383 or isele@cc.gatech.edu.

Direct donations can be entered through the Georgia Robotics web facility, which is a method for web based entry to donation through the Georgia Tech Foudation. Such donations are excluded from institute overhead.
