Jeff directs the Personal Information Environments research group at Georgia Tech. Although his current research interests focus on studying the properties of personal information environments and enabling their creation, he is also interested in 3D interaction and 3D authoring and has previously worked in those areas. Jeff spends his spare time kayaking, hiking, and wondering why people on the East Coast keep insisting on calling their big hills mountains.
