Joshua Preston
Communications Officer
Biography
Josh Preston is the communications officer for the Institute for Data and High Performance Computing and the GVU Center, both housed in the College of Computing at Georgia Tech.
He leads the development and implementation of the centers' marketing communications plans. Mr. Preston is responsible for producing news and marketing programs that showcase each center's research, community and activities.
He is a graduate of North Georgia College & State University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in political science and a minor in professional writing and mass communications. He also earned his Master of Public Administration degree from the university.
Mr. Preston has 10 years of experience in public relations and marketing for higher education and the U.S. military. His work has garnered three CASE Awards for Excellence in print publications.
