Josie Giles is the marketing communications manager for the Institute for Robotics and Intelligent Machines (IRIM), one of Georgia Tech's Interdisciplinary Research Institutes. She leads the development and implementation of marketing communications plans for IRIM and also assists the College with developing websites.
From October 2013–June 2014, Josie also served as the marketing communications manager for the Institute for Data and High Performance Computing (IDH). Previously, she served as the research communications officer for the Center for 21st Century Universities (C21U) and the Robotics & Intelligent Machines Center (currently IRIM) at Georgia Tech. Prior to joining the College of Computing, she managed the communications program for Georgia Tech's School of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering for twelve years.
A 1994 graduate of Agnes Scott College, Josie has 20 years of experience in communications, including marketing, graphic design, and web development.
