Biography

Randy is the Lead for the Research ProgramSupport Group in the Technology Services Organization (TSO), a group that isresponsible for supporting the cutting-edge technologies in research centersand labs of the College of Computing.  The group focuses on high-performance computing, research data centers, lab computing, web programming, group collaboration technologies, research event support, and more.  Randy has a Master's in Computer Science and a Bachelor's in Mathmatics from Georgia State University.  Previously, he was as a Research Scientist at Georgia Tech's GVU Center where he was the
Manager of the GVU Lab.  In 2007, Randy received a GVU Impact Award for outstanding technical support of GVU.  Before coming to Georgia Tech, he worked as a Systems Support Specialist at Georgia State University.  Randy has worked over 20 years in support of higher-ed research computing.
