First you need to make the Unix files in /usr/local/happening/
accessible in Windows environment -- telnet to a Unix machine.
Then execute this line:
$HOME/happening/
symbolically linked directory on
the Unix side, which is equivalent to
H:\happening\
on the Windows side. Note that my
home directory is mounted as the H:
drive on a
Windows machine. Yours may be Z:
or something
else -- just substitute in the correct one.
Then run
/usr/local/happening/.
Alternatively, get the archive ~happen/windows/happening.zip from
any CoC Unix machine, unpack it to your local disk, and run
happening.exe in the archive directory.
- Optional: If you want to automatically start the program when you
login, create a shortcut to that executable in your
personal
Startup
programs folder. Do NOT use copy,
because the executable needs to be with the directory to function.
- Optional: Maybe you want to keep the "What's Happening" window
always shown on top of all other windows. You can use the Push Pin for that.
