I am a 1st year PhD student at the School of Computer Science, Georgia Tech. My PhD supervisor is Prof. Umakishore Ramachandran.

My area of research is fog computing systems, which is also known as edge/pervasive computing - with particular focus on the possibilities of enforcing software-defined control over the infrastructure so as to make well-informed decisions that benefit user experience. I have also worked on cloud computing for two years, touching various areas like resource management, energy efficiency and service brokerage. I have been involved in projects on smartphone applications and epidemiology using complex networks.

Apart from interests in academics, I am interested in dramatics, choreograhy and cricket. I love listening to music, especially Indian music and progressive rock.
