General Information
Details
My research focuses on adaptive, human-centered AI systems that personalize learning and assessment at scale. In my recent work on generative AI–driven education, I design platforms that use fine-grained skill modeling and real-time feedback loops to transform static AI-generated content into mastery-based learning pathways. This work builds on my broader background in data mining, social sensing, multilingual information extraction, and adaptive machine learning, with the overarching goal of developing scalable AI systems that integrate diverse data sources and adapt to users to support effective learning and decision-making.
Teaching interests focus on student-centered, practice-driven computer science education that emphasizes real-world problem solving, independent thinking, and clear technical communication. Instructional approaches highlight live coding, applied projects, and modern technologies to connect theory with practice while explaining the underlying motivation behind core concepts.
