I have research interests in theoretical computer science. These include complexity theory, logic, algorithms, and discrete mathematics. I am also interested in computer science education, and how theoretical computer science can be better taught. This includes with the use of AI, and interaction.
I teach theoretical computer science courses across the curriculum. These include CS2050 Discrete Mathematics, CS3510 Algorithms, and CS4510 Automata and Complexity. In all courses, there is strong emphasis on problem solving skills, and precision in technical and proof writing. I also advise students through I2P projects, directed readings, and theses.
