Details
Dr. Ammar's research interests are in network architectures, protocols and services. He has contributions in the areas of multicast communication and services, multimedia streaming, video conferencing, content distribution networks, network simulation, disruption-tolerant networks, mobile cloud computing, and network virtualization.
Dr. Ammar teaches graduate an undergraduate courses in Computer Networks. Courses include: undergraduate Introduction to Computer Networks, Graduate Networking for Multimedia and Modern Topics in Computer Networking.
