Details
Dr. Ahamad conducts research that explores how computer systems can be made secure against certain types of cyber threats. His research covers understanding the threats malicious actors pose to systems and developing techniques to secure them against such threats. His research has been successfully commercialized to address real-world cybersecurity threats that are faced by a variety of organizations.
Dr. Ahamad teaches cybersecurity courses that instill the security mindset, help understand threats against systems, and how these systems can be designed, implemented, and deployed to be robust against such threats. His focus is on systems security, addressing how hardware and a trusted computing base can be supported and utilized to enable secure execution of applications.
