Statement of Research Interests:

My research is on human-centered AI and health/wellbeing in underserved communities. I examine how we can design for more just care infrastructures that better recognize the labor, rights ,and autonomy of care workers and care recipients.

Statement of Teaching Interests:

I teach CS 3751, Intro to User Interface Design, which introduces students to design thinking and guides them through applying the framework to a course project. I also teach a special topics seminar Future of Work, which draws on research in sociology and human-computer interaction to help students examine the relationship between work and technology, and inquire into how various stakeholders and social forces shape futures of work.
