Georgia Tech researchers are partnering with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta to develop ACCORD, an AI-powered system designed to detect subtle warning signs of rapid deterioration earlier. Kai Wang, assistant professor in Georgia Tech's School of Computational Science and Engineering and co-principal investigator, is helping lead the effort to develop a model that analyzes vital signs, lab results and other clinical data to forecast risk.
