Amanda Moore is an experienced advancement professional with a strong background in alumni engagement, event strategy, donor stewardship, and fundraising. She currently serves as Director of Alumni Relations for the Georgia Tech College of Computing, where she leads strategic initiatives designed to engage alumni, strengthen lifelong connections to the college, and advance institutional priorities through meaningful programming and experiences. Her work is rooted in building authentic relationships and fostering a strong sense of community among diverse alumni and stakeholders.   Prior to assuming her current role, Amanda held several leadership positions at the University of West Georgia, most recently as Executive Director of Alumni & Constituent Engagement. In that role, she provided strategic oversight for Alumni Engagement, Annual Giving, Donor Relations and Stewardship, Signature Events, and Presidential Events. Earlier in her tenure at UWG, she served as Director of Signature Events & Stewardship and Assistant Director of Signature Events & Traditions, where she was actively involved in alumni relations efforts while developing and executing comprehensive event strategies to cultivate donor relationships, enhance institutional visibility, and celebrate philanthropic impact. Before joining UWG, Amanda served as Leadership Annual Giving Officer at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.   Amanda holds a Master of Science in Rural Sociology from Auburn University, with research focused on agri-food systems, media, and rural communities. She earned both a Bachelor of Science and an Associate of Science in Agricultural Business from ABAC, completing both degrees through the Honors Program.   Amanda is actively engaged in the advancement profession and currently serves on the board of the Georgia Education Advancement Council. She previously served as an advisory board member for the National Educational Alumni Trust.   She brings a deep commitment to collaboration, service, and excellence to her work in higher education advancement. Outside of work, Amanda and her husband love to travel, spend time on the water, and escape to the slopes whenever they can—usually with Oliver, their energetic pup, happily along for the ride.
