Biography

Ryan Shandler is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the Georgia Tech School of Cybersecurity & Privacy. Prior to joining SCP he was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Oxford with Nuffield College and the Blavatnik School of Government. He holds a Ph.D. from the School of Political Sciences at the University of Haifa, and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Melbourne.

His research focuses on the human dimension of cybersecurity. Using experimental methods, he examines how ubiquitous cyber threats influence political behaviors and attitudes. This research has been published in the British Journal of Political Science, Journal of Peace Research, Public Opinion Quarterly, Journal of Global Security Studies, Contemporary Security Policy, Journal of Cybersecurity, and elsewhere.
