Outreach

Computers have become nearly ubiquitous in modern life, and computing skills have become essential for a well-rounded education and a successful career. Computing is also a key tool for solving many scientific, social and economic problems.

Our Constellations Center for Computing Education is the outreach arm of the College. We go into local schools to teach the students, and we hold workshops to educate their teachers. We are working with the state of Georgia and other institutions to build a K-12 computing curriculum for all. Our researchers work with local groups to create the technologies they need for their nonprofits and neighborhoods.

We are building a bridge between technology and community, one that makes a real difference for real people’s futures. Learn more about what we do — and how to join us — below.
