My research focuses on human–computer interaction and interaction design, with an emphasis on how people engage with interactive systems in real-world contexts. I study interaction through user-centered and mixed research methods, including field studies, interviews, and design evaluation, to understand how design decisions shape user behavior, communication, and experience across physical and digital environments. My work contributes to HCI by advancing practical research methodologies and translating empirical findings into actionable design insights.
My teaching interests center on human–computer interaction, interaction design, and research methods. I emphasize hands-on, project-based learning that guides students through the full research and design process—from framing questions and conducting user research to analyzing data and communicating findings. My goal is to help students develop strong methodological skills, critical thinking, and reflective design practices that prepare them for research and design roles.
