My research centers on understanding user behavior and needs when interacting with technology-based artifacts in real-world contexts. I employ qualitative methods to develop interface solutions that are effective, efficient, and satisfying for system stakeholders.
I bring more than three decades of professional expertise in user interface design and evaluation to the classroom. I primarily teach foundational courses to Master's students in the Human-Computer Interaction program.
