H. VENKATESWARAN obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Washington in 1986.  He joined the Georgia Institute of Technology as an Assistant Professor in the year 1986. He is currently serving as the Associate Chair for Graduate Studies for the School of Computer Science in the College of Computing. His research interests are in the area of Computational Complexity Theory. He has taught many offerings of theory courses at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
